Fall in Yosemite: Half Dome

People around the world who may never ever see Half Dome recognize it as a symbol not only of Yosemite, but of the vast grandeur of the American West. This is largely due to the work of Ansel Adams, whose ravishing photographs brought Yosemite to the attention of people in the farthest corners of the world. Artists of all kinds are drawn to it, and though I have seen it many times, from many angles, it is always breath-taking.
