Angel’s Window, North Rim, Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon’s North Rim is different from the South Rim. It’s more remote and therefore quieter, and because of this it can be easier to connect with the Canyon’s true nature. On the other hand, because there is no rim-hugging trail as on the South Rim, not everything is right there in your face, and you have to seek things out. I saw this beautiful and mysterious formation at sunset one day. I was with a friend, and except for a few small critters we had the place to ourselves.
